Spotlight on Ms. Deresha McGowan
The Dream Builder spotlight is on Deresha McGowan, a candidate for the William David Dilworth Memorial Grant. Deresha graduated from Forsyth Tech in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, in Practical Nursing in June and received $250.00 from the WDDM Scholarship Fund. She has completed her Boards -NCLEX-PN: The National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses and is a certified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) as of September 16, 2023. When she returns to school to further her education, the Board has approved $50.00 monthly to defray miscellaneous expenses.
