Founded in March of 2001 by Pastors Russell & Sylvia Medley, Sylvia Dilworth
Medley Ministries is known in the community as Morning Glory Ministries. It is is
a non-profit faith-based evangelistic Christian ministry. The "spiritual covering"
and partner of Morning Glory Ministries is the Scotts Run Community Church.
The founders and Board of Directors have a special burden to assist youth with
talent and a dream through its counseling and teaching ministry.
Headquartered in Monongalia County of West Virginia, the center piece of the
ministry is the Morning Glory Mansion, a gathering place for youth and family to
build dreams while providing the William David Dilworth Memorial Dream Builder
Musical Instrument Award for guitars, saxophones, violins. . ., William David
Dilworth Memorial Dream Builder Grant/ Scholarship Awards for piano lessons,
arts, theater, science, ministry, etc., and counseling to assist in developing
positive behavior and deterring crime. It also houses the signature Morning
Glory Art Collection of Pastor Sylvia Medley - spiritual icons depicting symbols
of God's power and glory encouraging young people to bloom and climb and grow
like the morning glory flowering vine.
