The pictorial  Tales of
Thomas Lee Carter III
2005-Present
This is the story of a young man named Thomas who found himself in a
terrible place of desolation twelve years ago.  HIs mother had died and left him
basically alone and down in a low place in this life.   But with God's Grace and
Mercy there were two people who loved him enough to give of themselves
unselfishly so that he would be able to get back up and live life to the fullest.

It was a slow tedious walk to the parking lot of the Truevine Missionary Baptist
Church of Lompoc, California on,Saturday, August 12, 2005.  A little 2-1/2 year
old Thomas  looked back for his mother, Sylvia L. Medley-Carter, 29 years old.
She had passed away from a brief illness not too many days before. Her funeral
service over, what would be the fate of this sad little person who was in a modern
day Lodebar - a dismal place of no pasture, no hope - total desolation?

His story is similar to that of Mephibosheth, the son of Prince Johnathan and the
grandson of King Saul in the Bible.  He was rescued by his father's best friend,
King David and taken to a place of royalty and love.

Thomas was rescued from Lodebar by his grandparents, Pastors Russell and
Sylvia Medley who traveled to California several times in two months to legally
obtain custody of him.  Just because Thomas is their grandson, did not mean that
he would automatically be handed over to them.  He could have become a Ward
of the state of California.  Only by the grace of God, he is permanently in the care
of loving grandparents being brought up in the admonition of God's word.

After a cross country journey from Lompoc, California to Morgantown, WV, they
pulled into the drive at 1342 Pineview Drive, Morgantown, WV; Thomas' new home
on September 19, 2005.  He was welcomed to
Grandma and Grandpa  Medley's
"Boot Camp" of Grace and Mercy.
