Morning Glory Prayer

Heavenly Father, as we celebrate Women’s History Month, Morning Glory Ministries will
dedicate this month to grandmothers everywhere with a series of meditations on the
God’s special helper, the Grandmother.  Thank you Father God as we pay tribute to
the strong matriarchs of the family - Grandmothers who stand in the gap when for some
reason the child’s mother is absent.  Whether it is because of an untimely death or
other circumstances, we thank you for the love and sacrifices of Grandmothers, the
Grannys, the MaMas, or Grandmamas who stand in the gap, caring and loving the child
24/7.

Heavenly Father, just as you care for us, we want this special grandchild who is without
a mother, spiritually or physically to know that they can cast all their cares upon us
knowing we care for them.  We want to mirror your concern.  We pray and gather
strength from you Father God.  Continue to lead us and guide us as we “do it again”-
bringing up a grandbaby in the admonition of your Word.

Thank you for a special blessing our grandson, Thomas.

For it is in your Son Jesus’ name we pray.  Amen.
