Dilworth Medley Ministries is known in
the community as Morning Glory
Ministries. It is not a church, but is a
non-profit faith-based evangelistic
Christian organization. The "spiritual
covering" and partner of Morning Glory
Ministries is the Scotts Run
Community Church.
The founders and Board of Directors
have a special burden to assist youth
with talent and a dream.
Headquartered in Monongalia County
of West Virginia, the center piece of
the ministry is the Morning Glory
Mansion, a gathering place for youth
and family to build dreams while
providing the William David Dilworth
Memorial Dream Builder Musical
Instrument Award for guitars,
saxophones, violins. . ., William David
Dilworth Memorial Dream Builder Grant/
Scholarship Awards for piano lessons,
arts, theater, science, ministry, etc.,
and counseling to assist in developing
positive behavior and deterring crime.
It also houses the signature Morning
Glory Art Collection of Pastor Sylvia
Medley - spiritual icons depicting
symbols of God's power and glory
encouraging young people to bloom and
climb and grow like the morning glory
flowering vine.
Morning Glory Ministries acts as a
stepping stone for building the dreams
and hopes of preschool through college
age youth who need encouragement and
financial assistance in pursuit of their
aspirations.
