THE C.I.R.C.U.S. of the Stars Children Inspired, Receiving Christ's Unconditional Salvation
|
On May 21, 2011, at the Mountaineer Mall,
center court in Morgantown, West Virginia,
the Lil Jammaz, a dance competition team
for kids ages 4 to 13 got the show on the
Road. Under the direction of their teacher,
19 year old Corinthina Rilko, a Junior at
West Virginia University, the energetic
young team with their green and yellow
florescent costumes wowed the audience
with their "hip hop" dance routines.
The Coaches Sampy Hardin and Travis
Cowles were amazing as they
demonstrated the take downs and defense
moves of Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and
Mixed Arts taught at the Ground Zero
Fighting Systems, Morgantown,
www.TeamGZFS.com.
Dream Builder WDDM Grant Recipient,
Christiana Everetts, displayed her
commitment to the instrument as she
played beautifully her piano piece.
The Temple of Christ Spiritual Dancers
moved gracefully in their flowing Royal
Blue and gray floor length dresses to the
Lord's Prayer. They gave praise to the
Lord in the dance. The dance was
choreographed by the young people.
Jeremey Stanley, Christian Juggler
Extraordinaire, was the main attraction as
he brought the salvation message through
his dynamic juggling routine. Jeremy, a
senior at Morgantown High is preparing to
attend Mount Vernon Nazarene University
in the Fall.
The Heavenly Starletts, ages 8 to 15, of
the Hilltop Church of God made their first
first appearance at the CIRCUS of the
Stars singing and performing sign
language as white ribbons danced
through the air under the direction of Ms.
Lisa Mayle.
The children were transformed into their
favorite characters when they visited the
Face Painting by Roberta Jones station.
Other activities included:
The Wildman/Woman Fitness Course
under the direction of Pastor Russell E.
Medley, Jr.
Many thanks to Pastor John Kelch and
his wife Demetrius for manning
Balloon Alley,
Pastor Kelch and his son Joey for being
the targets for Pie-in-the-Face.
Pastor Sylvia Medley was the conductor
as the delicious cakes for the Cake Walk
were distributed to the winners. The cakes
were donated by the Living Room Ministry
of Pastors John and Ruth Rittenhouse,
Special thanks goes out to Jennifer and
Paul Longstreth who manned the vintage
Popcorn Machine. Thanks you Living
Room Ministries of Morgantown for the use
of the popcorn machine.
There was popcorn, sandwiches, drinks
toys, and prizes for all kids of all ages.
Pepsi of Fairmont quenched our thirst
with their canned drinks as Jimmy Johns
though late but much appreciated donated
submarine sandwiches to the hungry
crowd.
A special thanks to Minister Shelby
Mayle & Roberta Jones, Event
Photographers and Minister Brandon
Agnew, Event Videographer.
Thank you Community Friends for all you
do.

Andrea Ochsenbine
